These rules govern applications, participation, submissions, manual review, public recognition, and gifts in the UgurLabs Fellowship. Privacy information is provided separately in the Fellowship Privacy Notice.

Eligibility and Accounts
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, use one verified account, and provide accurate information. An account is required to apply and use the private dashboard. Selection gives ongoing access without a content quota or inactivity deadline, but access is personal and cannot be transferred.

Independent Participation
Participants decide whether, when, and what to publish. UgurLabs does not commission coverage, require an endorsement, approve content before publication, or require a positive conclusion. Participation is for people who genuinely use or evaluate the projects and choose to teach others about their experience.

Eligible Published Work
Only already-published posts on a personal blog, YouTube videos, and YouTube Shorts are eligible. LinkedIn and Reddit posts are excluded. The participant must control the submitted site or channel and must have the right to publish every part of the work.

AI, Evidence, and Privacy
AI assistance is allowed and must be declared honestly. Generic output without firsthand product use is not accepted. Screenshots, recordings, commands, and results presented as real must be genuine. Tenant details, personal identities, device identifiers, secrets, customer data, and confidential information must be removed before publication. The complete requirements are in the Quality Guide.

Submission and Manual Review
Every submission is reviewed manually after publication. UgurLabs may accept it, request reasonable changes at the same public URL, reject it below the scoring threshold, or stop review when the quality gate fails. A participant is never required to change already-published work; declining a change request simply means the current version will not be accepted. Rejected work remains private to its author and administrators.

Scoring and Monthly Recognition
Accepted work scores at least 70 out of 100. A score of 80 or more creates eligibility for the applicable monthly recognition round. At finalization, only each participant's highest-scoring eligible submission enters the ranking. Up to three entries receive the same announced gift. Human reviewers assign the scores and manually finalize every round; engagement metrics do not affect the result.

Gifts Are Recognition, Not Payment
A gift is voluntary recognition of strong, independently published educational work. It is not payment for publishing, an endorsement, a positive review, employment, or future content. Participation, acceptance, and reaching the eligibility threshold do not guarantee a gift. The announced gift may be replaced with an equivalent option if the original service cannot be delivered in the recipient's country. Recipients are responsible for any personal tax or reporting duties that apply to them.

Transparent Disclosure
Before submission, the work must clearly disclose that it is being considered in a UgurLabs recognition round and may receive a gift. A selected recipient should update the disclosure to identify the gift when the publishing platform permits. The required pre-selection wording appears in the Quality Guide. Missing or misleading disclosure makes the work ineligible.

Public and Private Records
Accepted work, recognized Fellows, and monthly recipients may be shown publicly without a public rank or score. Applications, pending and rejected work, full rankings, personal scores, feedback, email addresses, and administrator notes remain private. Each participant can access only their own private program records.

Content Rights
Participants keep ownership of their work. By submitting it, the participant gives UgurLabs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to display and link the submitted title, public URL, public display name, summary, channel links, project name, and an associated thumbnail or short excerpt solely for the Fellowship showcase, directory, and recognition archive. This permission ends when the relevant listing is removed, except for non-public records that must be retained. UgurLabs does not receive ownership of the original article or video.

Leaving, Account Deletion, and Removal
A participant may leave the active program at any time. Voluntary departure ends future submission access but keeps legitimately accepted work and earned Fellow recognition public. Deleting the Clerk account also unlists the public Fellow entry, channel links, and accepted-work listings. Fraud, fabrication, plagiarism, unsafe disclosure, deceptive promotion, or material misrepresentation may result in removal and unlisting. A legitimately delivered gift is not reclaimed except in cases of fraud or payment error.

No Representative Relationship
Participation and the Technical Education Fellow designation do not create employment, freelancing, agency, partnership, maintainership, or authority to represent UgurLabs. Participants cannot make commitments on behalf of UgurLabs or imply that their views are official UgurLabs statements.

Changes and Program Closure
UgurLabs may close the program, pause applications or rounds, or update these rules for future activity. Material changes are shown in the authenticated website or sent as a transactional notification. Active participants must accept the current rules before submitting again. Changes do not retroactively remove a legitimately earned designation or delivered gift unless fraud is later established. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
